Introduction

Education and Family Support Services Centre believes that not only individual effort, but also two major social systems, namely families and schools, facilitate the growth of students. In which, parents and teachers play a significant guiding role in aspects of cultivating students’ knowledge and skills as well as facilitating their self-reflection on personal attitudes and growth and thus avoiding limitation of individual growth by personal experience. The Centre provides on-site student support activities for schools, including growth classes, moral and civic education, life skills courses, Understanding Adolescent Project and prefect training. Parent talks or discipline groups will be provided for parents as well. Moreover, in terms of teacher support, on-site school-based teacher trainings are available, including crisis management, thematic training.
