Purpose of Service
BOKSS lntegrated Community Centre for Mental Wellness (ICCMW) provides a one-stop, district-based integrated mental health service to the local community. It promotes the importance of holistic health, which includes physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of health. It also provides training and activities for mental health Service users.

Service Aims

To enhance the Social support and re-integration of the mental health service users into the community, BOKSS ICCMW provides a one-stop and integrated service that includes independent living training; developing potentials and strengths; building supportive social network; encouraging continuous learning; enriching daily lives to achieve self-help and mutual support in or beyond their recovery process.

To support people or their families in the community who are suffering from emotional or mental distress by providing early identification of the problem and intervention to prevent further deterioration

To enhance the community of the concern and awareness of holistic health.
Target Groups
The target Groups of ICCMW are those living in the district, including-

Discharged mental patients since secondary school age
-
Persons with suspected mental health problems since secondary school age

Family members / cares of the above persons

Residents with interest in understanding and improving their mental health
Service Areas
- Wan Chai, Causeway Bay
- Happy Valley, Wong Nai Chung Gap (excluding Celestial Garden and Hong Kong Parkview)
- Tin Hau (including Viking Villas and Fly Dragon Terrace but excluding Hing Hon Building to King Yu Court)
Service Scopes
Assessment and Counselling
Mental wellness assessments, counselling and outreaching visits will be provided by professional social workers to the recovered. Also, support services in handling mental and living problems, including consultation and referral services, will be available.
Joyful Gathering
The Centre offers social and recreational activities, continuing education courses, growth groups, volunteer services and mutual-aid groups.
Pre-employment Training and On-job Support
Pre-employment training, on- job support and social skill training will be provided by occupational therapists and assistants.
Family Support
Families of the recovered will undergo assessment while the Centre will provide support accordingly in individual or group format and helps establish a platform for mutual assistance.
Community Education
The Centre organises a wide range of community education activities to raise community awareness toward holistic health development, early identification and intervention of emotional/ mental distress and thus building a community with high acceptance and integration.
Peer Support Service
Emotional and recover supports through interview, phone conversation, outing and caring visits or small group activities to mental health recoverees will be provided by peer support workers and organize mental health education activities to general public
Clinical Psychological Service (refer by case worker)
Provision of psychological assessment and treatment, clinical groups and programmes

How to Withdraw
Applicants may apply for withdrawal or file close in person or writing or via phone.

Free admission. Charges may vary depending on activities.
